D&AD Nomination

April 30, 2012

I remember telling my tutor (The fantastic Claudia Pagliarani) back at college on my graphic design national diploma that I one day I will win a Yellow pencil. Four years later and here I am, nominated for a pencil in the Digital Design category.

I could not be any happier.

For months we pushed ourselves mentally and physically to limit, spending many many sleepless nights making sure our submission was flawless. As a result we produced the best piece of work we have ever made.

Follow this link to see both our work, and also our competition. Fingers crossed.

Reviews seem to be suggesting that this is a great read. Its just a shame that student finances seem to think that £1,100 is an acceptable amount of money to survive on for three months, rent alone being £1,150 for three months. – Looks like I wont be buying this. Sorry mike, give me a few months and I will take one off your hands. However, If you do happen to have the funds then Get it here! http://www.abookapart.com/products/design-is-a-job

So in my quest to create a unique bar/ding experience, I have come across some fantastic restaurants and drinking holes in my research. But this is by far the best one I have found so far. Truely unique. My illustrator friend – Ben Mercer told me about this place after his travels around the states. I could list all the amazing things that you can do at this place but you may as well just watch this. I want the Martini!

Limited edition prints

April 8, 2012

This range of prints has been created with the aim of attracting more positivity into your life. Its too easy to get bogged down with the weight of the world, so utilising a psychological process known as ‘anchoring’ I have created pieces which can be used to improve your emotional state. If you set aside a few minutes each day to stare into each print and remind yourself of all the wonderful things you have going on around you, the people that make you smile, the things in life that you love. In time this positive emotional state of mind can be extracted just by quickly glancing at the image.

Three of these prints are now on sale. And will be available either by contacting me, or through my new website which should be up and running in the next two weeks. More prints will be released in the next few months. Enjoy.

Nike Fuel

March 25, 2012

New Nike store in Box Park London. Pushing the boundaries of what a consumer experience should be. Is this sort of thing going to be common place in the future or is this just a novelty? Who knows, but one thing is for sure, this is an incredible way to attract customers to your brand and an fantastic way to showcase your products.

The new site

March 21, 2012

After about six redesigns, countless hours coding, too many jQuery tutorials and about about a years worth of incredibly late nights. The new portfolio site is pretty much done. phew.

The site will hopefully be up and running by the end of the week but until then here is a sneek peek.

Jeb Corliss

Beautifully shot, epic scenery, awesome soundtrack, and balls of steel. Winning combination. If there is one thing I do before I die, I think it has to be this! Maybe not so close to a mountain though.

Moon

March 11, 2012

Was looking out the window and saw that the sky looked odd. so thought i would crack out the camera and do some long exposure shots, which in turn lead to a stop motion animation.

The first one was incredible. This one pushes the concept even further!
